The Role
The Accounting Manager/Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day financial operation of our organization. This position is responsible for financial accounting including monthly close processes, A/R & A/P, payroll, coordinating various operational tasks, and administrative support to other functions.. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of multitasking effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
Finance & Accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices and payments
- Own the monthly financial close process
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax filings.
- Prepare budget and actual reporting for the executive team
- Assess and Implement new tools around payroll, accounting, HRIS, benefits, etc. as required
Administrative Support:
- Provide certain administrative support to executives and team members, including onboarding/offboarding assistances and records management
About You
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years Experience in bookkeeping, financial record keeping, and payroll processing.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
